Say Cheese!
We finally know that Claire is okay with the parents that she got...she is smiling at us. It is so fun to make her smile. It is pretty amazing what a grown person will do just to make a baby smile. We are loving it. It has been almost impossible to get a picture of her smiling (my camera has such a delay on it). This weekend Claire's Grams and Poppi came to visit and Poppi was able to get a few pics of her smiling.

What a cutie pie! Love the big loving smiles she is giving her Mommy & Daddy! I can't wait to see her and bring Mama Kay, her great-grand, for a visit this week!Today, I got a phone call from Claire! Her sweet, happy, cooing noises was such a nice surprise. Now I have these photos to go along with her sweet little voice. It's the next best thing to being there! Megan is right...it is amazing what we do to make babies smile! She is such a sweet, precious baby and we love her so much. Megan sings the sweetest song to Claire every morning,Good Morning to you, ......That is what she was singing to Claire when the big grim covered her face.She sure does love her Mommy and Daddy.
Grams
Being a grandparent is beyond what everyone has said it would be like. Holding little Peanut (aka Claire Elizabeth) is one of the most wonderful experiences one can imagine. Parallels the experience of holding your own newborn.
Megan and Kyle are great parents and love Peanut sooo much. She is blessed to have such wonderful parents and such loving grandparents.
It was special to listen to Megan sing good morning to Peanut and watch how she responded. Claire continues to develop and each day is such an amazingly new day. God bless the miracle of birth and little babies.
I know that little Peanut has her grams and poppi wrapped around her little finger. It was truly an amazing weekend. We were both teary-eyed on the long drive back. I keep singing "Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning to you" in my head and seeing little Peanut smiling that beautiful smile. I even ssng the song to Susie this morning. I didn't get the same response... We are both sad that we had to leave .
